It’s been another exciting and busy day for Day 2 of Maths Week! 4th, 5th, and 6th Classes kicked off the TT Rockstars Times Tables Competition, showing off their speedy multiplication skills.
Senior Infants and 2nd Class had great fun taking part in the “Measure Me” activity, while 1st Class went on a fun Maths Trail around the school.
Ms. Hehir’s 6th Class group have also been working really well on their maths project — great teamwork all around!
The highlight of the day was the Maths Quiz in the halla, with pupils from 1st to 6th Class taking part. Everyone enjoyed answering tricky questions, and it was wonderful to see how the 6th Class students involved every member of their teams — everyone was engaged and having fun.
It all came down to a tie-breaker between seven teams, and a big well done to the winning team — Group 8! 🎉 (Olivia 6th class, Alisha 5th class, Kate 4th class, Calista 4th class,Tanya 3rd class, Latisha 2nd class, Skye 1st class and Osman 1st class.)
