We are delighted to announce that, after participating in the Maths Eyes Annual Poster and Group Initiative Competition in partnership with Maths Eyes and Week Ireland 2024, we were selected as winners in the group category! Congratulations to all the pupils in 3rd class and their teachers Ms. O' Sullivan and Ms. Hogan. In recognition of this achievement, Kate and Zainab, along with Ms. O' Sullivan and Ms. Ryan attended an award ceremony on Thursday the 11th of September in the Department of Education and Skills to celebrate our success. The Minister of Education Helen McEntee opened the ceremony and we were presented with a plaque and a poster print.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to this fantastic achievement, especially our parents who submitted lots of Maths Eyes photographs throughout October and November. The school was also awarded a silver award in recognition of your ongoing commitment to Maths Eyes.
