Maths Week continued in full swing today with a fun-filled schedule of activities for every class in Presentation Primary!
We started the morning with Michelle Culloty’s Online Quiz, which we were excited to join. Junior and Senior Infants kicked off the day, showing off their super counting and number skills. First and Second Classes followed, solving puzzles and cheering each other on. After break, Third and Fourth Classes took their turn, showing great teamwork and speedy thinking. Finally, Fifth and Sixth Classes wrapped up the quiz with lots of excitement and friendly competition!
There was plenty more fun around the school too. Ms. Ormsby's Junior Infants and Ms. O' Halloran's Class enjoyed Problem Solving Games with Sixth Class, filled with teamwork and clever thinking. Later, Ms. Deighan’s Junior Infants had a great time working with Fourth Class, playing maths games and sharing ideas together.
Throughout the day, TT Rockstars kept Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Classes busy challenging each other and improving their times tables skills — the competition is heating up! Meanwhile, Senior Infants, First and Second Classes took part in the “Me in Number” activity, exploring how numbers connect to their everyday lives — from birthdays to pets, shoe sizes, and more!
It’s been another fantastic day of Maths Week in Pres, full of learning, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Day 4!
